PrimePay is currently looking for a talented and experienced individual to support our Health & Welfare Benefit Compliance solution at our flagship office, located in West Chester, PA.  Health & Welfare Benefit Compliance is part of our HR & Benefit Services department, which is one of our fastest growing divisions.  In this position, the individual will be responsible in assisting employers and benefit professionals in the creation of customized ERISA wrap documents and 5500s for their health and welfare benefit offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist employers in the creation, customization and quality review of comprehensive ERISA plan documents (including Summary Plan Descriptions)
  • Provide technical guidance and training for prospects and clients, referral partners and the PrimePay internal team as needed
  • Work directly with the HR & Benefits services sales team to manage and facilitate the sales process with employers
  • Update and maintain employer and benefits plan information in the database to ensure accuracy
  • When required, prepare 5500s for employers

Required experience:

  • Experience with ERISA compliance for Health and Welfare benefits (preferred) 
  • Three years of practical experience in employee benefits or employee benefit administration 
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to set priorities is critical within this high-volume, fast-paced division
  • Attention to detail and ability to problem-solve
  • Highly effective phone and email communication skills, as well as superior customer service skills
  • Strong writing skills
  • Proficient in ERISA compliance and ACA guidelines for small and large employer groups
  • Solid understanding of Section 125 and 105 rules, COBRA and HIPAA
  • Demonstrates persistence, overcomes obstacles and strives to improve skills and achieve goals

 Preferred experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with at least two years’ experience is preferred, or a combination of some college and a paralegal certificate 
  • Experience with SunGard Relius documents is a plus
  • Experience with Microsoft Access or a relational database is a plus
