We currently have an opening for a Payroll Tax Associate.  The Payroll Tax Associate is responsible for e-filing and remittance of all monthly, quarterly and annual tax returns in balance and on time.

 No two days will be the same. But here’s what you can count on:

  • Data entry
  • Processing client payroll tax transactions
  • Electronic ACH debit or payment processing, as needed
  • Routine internal auditing
  • Maintaining and balancing clients’ accounts using Great Plains software
  • Reconciling various banking transactions
  • Problem research and resolution
  • Assisting with daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll tax return processing
  • Various special projects as needed

Here are some qualities we hope our next Payroll Tax Associate has:

  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
  • Experience in various aspects of Employer Payroll Tax processing
  • BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or related business field  (strongly recommended)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with emphasis on Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Efficient and effective multi-tasking
  • Strong analytical and auditing skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle confidential information professionally
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Able to work overtime when needed
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure
